The name “chakra” is the Sanskrit word for wheel because they are said to be spinning forces of energy in the body. The illustration here shows a grand vertical entrance to a sacrosanctum dedicated to five elementals namely earth, wind, fire, nature, and spirit. The balance of these five energies within one’s body can benefit them greatly. When a person walks towards the gate in the noon they can see the sun ascending down through the tinted glass as they get close to the opening, representing the flow of chakra in a body.
