Kritika Kharbanda leads the global sustainability initiatives at Henning Larsen, shaping strategies that drive sustainable innovation across diverse architectural projects. With expertise at the intersection of architecture, sustainability, and technology, she develops methodologies for achieving ambitious environmental goals in civic, cultural, educational, and commercial spaces.

As the Head of Sustainability at Henning Larsen, Kritika Kharbanda spearheads the firm's global efforts to integrate sustainability into architecture. She plays a pivotal role in setting sustainability goals and developing strategies to achieve them across a broad spectrum of projects, including educational institutions, civic buildings, laboratories, offices, and masterplans. Her work bridges architecture, environmental science, and technology, ensuring that each project aligns with progressive climate and sustainability benchmarks.

Kritika holds a master’s degree specializing in Energy and Environments from Harvard Graduate School of Design, with cross-enrollment at MIT. She was also a Social Innovation and Change Initiative Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School, further strengthening her expertise in sustainable development.

Her influence extends beyond her firm, as she actively contributes to the global Carbon Leadership Forum and the International Building Performance Simulation Association (IBPSA). Additionally, she is an engaged member of ULI New York’s Climate and Sustainability Council and the Young Leaders Group, advocating for forward-thinking environmental solutions in the built environment.
